Chapter 2 in Chaos in Complex Dynamical System: Theory and Application, 2026, pp 9-29 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Numerous studies have been conducted on the anti-synchronization of nonlinear real dynamic systems [66–70], Notably, complex chaotic systems possess more abundant dynamic characteristics, rendering the research on their anti-synchronization of great significance. Firstly, this chapter proposes a novel complex chaotic system and investigates its anti-synchronization (AS) performance. Secondly, it explores the adaptive anti-synchronization problem for a class of chaotic complex nonlinear systems with unknown parameters. Based on the Lyapunov stability theory [71], an adaptive control scheme and adaptive laws of parameters are developed to anti-synchronize two chaotic complex systems.
