Chapter Chapter 5 in Game Theory and Its Applications, 2025, pp 61-71 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In Chap. 2 we haveExistence of equilibria seen examples of discrete static games which had no equilibrium (Example 2.7 ), unique equilibrium (Example 2.1 ) and multiple equilibria (Example 2.6 ). We faced similar situation with continuous gamesContinuous games in Chap. 3 (Examples 3.2 , 3.3 and 3.1 ). In this chapter we will give sufficient conditions for the existence of equilibria in continuous gamesContinuous games. A class of special discrete games will be discussed later in this book.
