Abstract: Abstract Logistics plays a vital role in halal production and development. However, the participation of women in logistics and transportation, especially in halal logistics, is still limited and needs considerable improvement. Various barriers and negative perceptions contribute to this restricted involvement, leading to the belief that women are not suited for roles in this sector. Thus, it is essential to make progress by actively promoting and supporting the development of young women's leadership from the grassroots level. Fostering women’s leadership not only enhances skill development, but also improves organizational and individual performance while contributing to community and global impact. Therefore, this chapter aims to examine the role of the higher education system in fostering a culture of women leadership within universities. It is understood that universities serve as environments for educating and developing top-tier human capital through knowledge and learning experiences. The formal education system, encompassing schools, colleges, and universities, holds great potential for enhancing practical learning, including hands-on and experiential approaches. Nevertheless, this potential has not been fully realized or utilized. There remains a significant opportunity for educational institutions to improve how they can support and enhance the student’s practical skills and the real-world application of knowledge for young women future leaders.
