Chapter Chapter 5 in Urn Models and Their Applications in Finance, 2025, pp 67-87 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract We continue the study of the nonlinear Pólya urn model which was discussed in Chap. 2 . In this chapter, we investigate the extreme case and especially the phase transition. We can analyze the phase transition using the exact solutions for this model, especially the critical exponent. In the voting model, the herder is the extreme herder.
