Abstract:
Abstract This book is compiled on the basis of the final project report on Education and Human Resources Issues in China, a key philosophy and social sciences research project sponsored by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. The first phase research results were incorporated into the China Education and Human Resources Development Report (2005–2006). This book examines the development of China’s education, often in the context of country comparisons on similar issues.
