Chapter Chapter 19 in Financial Innovation and Paths of Cooperation of City Clusters, 2025, pp 311-320 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Hardware financial infrastructure in this chapter refers to the systems that handle transactions and settlements among financial institutions, and the linkages among these systems. The construction of hardware financial infrastructure is not only necessary for the healthy and sustainable development of the financial industry, but also conducive to the financial cooperation within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the rapid and stable development of special financial services. We will analyze the current development of Macao’s financial infrastructure and the room for its improvement in order to propose suggestions to promote the development of Macao’s special financial service from the perspective of financial infrastructure hardware.
