Chapter Chapter 1 in Analytical and Numerical Methods for Nonlinear Fluid Flow Problems in Porous Media, 2024, pp 1-6 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Most of the seepage flow problems involved in oil and gas reservoir development engineering are nonlinear. How to model and solve these nonlinear seepage flow problems and further develop the corresponding engineering technology is the key to successfully solve the field practical problems. The solution methods of linear seepage model have been very mature, and the commonly used solutions include Laplace transform method, Green’s function method, etc.
