Abstract: Abstract Generative AI, a transformative technology, has the potential to revolutionize the education industry. This study explores the opportunities and challenges of applying generative AI in education. Generative AI enables intelligent tutoring systems that personalize learning experiences by analyzing vast data, adapting content, and meeting individual learner needs. These advancements can enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. However, ethical data use, infrastructure, expertise, and financial resources are challenges. Faculty training is crucial to utilize generative AI effectively. This research defines an ethical framework to ensure AI benefits education and human development. Challenges include data ethics, algorithmic bias, infrastructure requirements, and teacher preparedness. Overcoming these challenges allows the education sector to leverage generative AI for personalized and adaptive learning, optimizing student outcomes and empowering educators in the digital age.
