Chapter Chapter 8 in 10 Ways to Invest, 2024, pp 167-187 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract While growth investing is sometimes described as an antithesis of value investing, successful growth investors need to be just as careful as value investors about not overpaying today for tomorrow’s growth. What sets growth investors apart is that emphasis on the importance of future growth in driving future returns, which often involves a level of imagination and exponential thinking that most investors find difficult. This chapter shows how compounding growth rates can provide exceptional returns over time, and how identifying and sticking with these opportunities compares and contrasts with value or special situations investing.
