Abstract:
Abstract The reform of state-owned enterprises (i.e., state-owned industrial and commercial enterprises) is the most important, and the most difficult and controversial, part of China’s economic system reform. In the traditional planned economy, state-owned enterprises, which were the underlings and the abacuses of the government, carried out production and operation according to the state’s mandatory plan.
