Justifying the Modernization
Tomáš Herceg
Chapter Chapter 2 in Modernizing.NET Web Applications, 2024, pp 43-129 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract After reading the previous chapter and reviewing your project’s codebase, you should have an overview of the steps necessary to migrate the application to the newest version of .NET. In this chapter, I would like to discuss the benefits of migration, both technical and nontechnical. As a matter of fact, the nontechnical reasons are often overlooked, even though they may be actually more important than the technical challenges.
