Chapter Chapter 9 in Influencer Boot Camp, 2025, pp 179-204 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Social media is the link between entertainment and brands—much like TV was in the early days. The direct line brands have to consumers is very valuable, and the data collected and used by social media platforms themselves are huge. Brands are always looking for fresh faces, as well as new communities to be introduced to. Influencers are the stars of branding—although, to be clear, not every Influencer converts to sales, which is actually the number one thing brands look for. If your community engages with you as an expert, that’s money in the bank.
