Chapter Chapter 1 in Competing Schools of Economic Thought, 2024, pp 1-4 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This book emerged as a departure from the conventional approach found in typical texts of the history of economic thought. Instead of merely emphasizing similarities and differences among prominent economists of the past, creating an encyclopaedic repository of knowledge, we advocate for what we think more fruitful and therefore useful method. Our focus is on thoroughly examining the fundamental ideas of each school of economic thought and major economists of the past and linking them to contemporary issues and problems.
