Abstract Smile Train India is the Indian arm of the US-based Smile Train that works to provide free cleft surgeries in India. India is one of the major operating countries of this social marketing organization. The key focus of this organization has been to increase awareness about cleft among all stakeholders and help poor families with cleft-afflicted children with funding to undertake surgery for cleft correction.
