Abstract Throughout this book the utilization of information has and will be discussed as the basis on which informed decisions are made. Information represents a strategic resource of the contemporary organization which must be properly understood as organizational leaders and managers chart an organization’s desired future and identify and implement the requisite steps or strategies necessary to realize that future state.
