Chapter 23 in Realizing Organizational Effectiveness, 2024, pp 81-83 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract While we will consider a number of aspects of managing and leading employees in this section of the book, the reality is that understanding the expectations of employees is always an essential starting point when working with employees—whether in supervisory, managerial, or leadership roles. While recognizing the importance of understanding the expectations of any organization’s most important resource—its employees—should be obvious, the reality is that sometimes this recognition is not present and acted upon in some organizations.
