Chapter 34 in Realizing Organizational Effectiveness, 2024, pp 115-116 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Policies and procedures are two essential ways in which an organization communicates its expectations as employees enact their respective roles and responsibilities on behalf of an organization. These guidance documents, along with any associated rules, define the expectations that an organization has deemed necessary and prudent in the conduct of its business operations and activities. All such guidance documents fall under the category of formal communication and should be in writing.
