Chapter Chapter 13 in Introduction to FinTech using Excel, 2025, pp 357-388 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The concept of Neural NetworksNeural networks is quite new and difficult to understand. This is especially true for most business school students. Because of this, we first explain a neural network'sNeural networks basic concepts and graphs. Then, we will use Excel to build up the simplest Neural NetworkNeural networks (one layerLayers and one neuron) using the famous Iris data set. After understanding the basic operations using Excel, we will show our hidden functions such as.showNN.showNN()(),.showNN_iris(),.showNN_iris2(), and.nn.nn()(). In the function names, NN (nn) stands for Neural NetworkNeural networks.
