Chapter Chapter 2 in Macroeconomic Theory, 2017, pp 13-33 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The description of the intertemporal trading structure of commodities, agents, and markets is the one originally proposed by Hicks (1939) and used later by Patinkin (1965). The mathematical presentation here follows Grandmont (1983) which corresponds to an extension of the general finite-dimensional Arrow-Debreu economy to an infinite repetition (sequence) of trading periods of finite-dimensional economies.
