Abstract: Abstract This article aims to contribute to women’s fertility research in the Czech Republic and other European countries. It focuses on the phenomenon of childlessness and on children by order of birth. The female population is segmented by the number of children ever born and is analyzed by age groups. Other than in the international comparison, this article also projects the analyzed characteristics into the future.
