Abstract:
Abstract So far, we introduced the following 17 analytical tools: the odds-ratio (I1), the matrix determinant (I2), the covariance coefficient (I3), the correlation coefficient (I4), the vector of regression coefficients (I5), the aggregate marital sorting parameter (I6), the v-value (I7), the marital surplus matrix (I8), the Liu–Lu-indicator (I9), the generalized Liu–Lu-indicator (I10), the IPF (M1), the MDbA (M2), the MEDA (M3), the CSA (M4), the NM (M5), the GNM (M6), and the GS-matching (M7). In this chapter, we argue that there is a need for a careful selection of the tools. Also, we show why it represents a challenge to identify the tools fit for the purpose.
