Chapter Chapter 11 in Critical Issues in Reproductive Health, 2014, pp 215-240 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The central challenges that face the reproductive health movement are neither medical nor technical. While a more perfect contraceptive would be a welcomed addition, such a development does not rise to the level of a central challenge. More valuable than a new contraceptive method would be a new metrics that all could agree upon as a more accurate and durable device to measure the success of interventions like those employed by Pathfinder International and its partners. Even as helpful as a new measuring stick would be, neither does it rise to a prominent level.
