Abstract:
Abstract Another important category of axioms is requirements of invariance when certain parameters of a problem change. An important motivation is the desire that the chosen outcome be independent of considerations that are deemed irrelevant. When a parameter changes, there are often several ways of evaluating the change, all equally legitimate.
