Abstract In 2019, the EC launched the Green Deal – its plan to make the EU’s economy environmentally sustainable (European Commission, 2019). Since then, the increased and sustained focus on environmental sustainability has spurred discussions about whether the competition law framework should be adjusted in the light of the Green Deal.
