Abstract:
Last year did not show the expected distinct recovery from the ongoing euro crisis. For the coming year 2015 the representatives of the economic sectors are concerned about global uncertainties as the weak economy in the crisis stricken euro countries, geopolitical risks and the loss of momentum in the emerging countries. On the other hand there are favourable prospects. Export demand is fuelled by the falling euro currency rate, low commodity prices act as an economic stimulus and low interest rates offer good financing conditions but are challenges for the insurance industry.
