David Hughes McElreath, Robert Boissoneau, Melissa Roof and Bruce Whipple

Journal of Marketing for Higher Education, 1996, vol. 7, issue 1, 1-8

Abstract: A study about the morale of university professors (N = 55) was conducted to examine the relationship between perceived conditions in the employment environment and overall job satisfaction. An ad hoc evaluation instrument was developed and administered to faculty at a midwestern university. Attention was given to those factors that had been most frequently identified as variables influencing job satisfaction Further research directions are discussed.
