Abstract:
This paper analyzes the changes in international landscape and China’s economic rise since the early 21st century, as well as the challenges faced by China, such as intense China-US relations and trade protectionism. It also examines the impact of these changes on China’s economic and trade relations, including increasing trade barriers in Europe and the US, shifts in trading partners, and changes in the investment patterns. It further explores China’s adaptations to global changes, including the responses to trade barriers, evolving international economic relations, and internal structural challenges like rural revitalization and aging demographics. The paper concludes that China must enhance private sector growth, embrace high-level openness, and strategically adjust its economic policies to navigate global uncertainties and sustain its growth momentum.
