Abstract:
We, the Editor and Publisher of Economic Research-Ekonomska Istraživanja, have retracted the following article:Yang Liu, ‘Does urban spatial structure affect labour income? – research based on 97 cities in China’, Economic Research-Ekonomska Istraživanja, Volume 34, 2021, Pages 545–569, DOI: 10.1080/1331677X.2020.1798265Since publication, the author has raised concerns about the data in the article having been used incorrectly by mistake, and confirmed there are therefore fundamental errors present.As this invalidates the reported results and conclusions the author alerted the issue to the Editor and Publisher and all have agreed to retract the article to ensure the integrity of the scholarly record.We have been informed in our decision-making by our policy on publishing ethics and integrity and the COPE guidelines on retractions.The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as ‘Retracted’.
