Abstract:
The study explores the challenges and realities associated with the inclusion of HIV-infected children in the traditional education system. Focusing on the perceptions of teachers, parents and students, the paper analyzes the impact of stigma and lack of information on the integration process. Through qualitative and quantitative methods, the study highlights the need for awareness and education programs to combat prejudice and promote an inclusive and safe environment for all students. The results indicate a variety of attitudes, from acceptance to reluctance, underscoring the importance of a progressive and informed approach to education. The study contributes to the existing literature by providing new insights into the integration of children with HIV and proposes practical strategies for facilitating a discrimination-free transition in schools. This research has significant implications for educational policy and for promoting the rights and well-being of children with HIV in the educational context.
