Abstract:
This study aims to examine the influence of the dependency ratio, unemployment rate, and labour education on economic growth in Indonesia. Secondary data published by Statistics Indonesia covering 34 provinces over 10 years (2014-2023) were used by this study. The data were analysed using the Dynamic Panel Generalised Method of Moments Estimations (Difference GMM) model. The findings show that the dependency ratio has a positive and significant effect on economic growth. In contrast, the unemployment rate and labour education have a negative and significant effect on economic growth.
