Abstract: This paper presents a mechanically calibrated installation methodology for concealed architectural door frames integrated within lightweight framing and gypsum drywall construction systems. Conventional concealed-frame installation practices commonly rely on manual alignment techniques, including wedges, shims, and foam-based compensation, frequently resulting in installer-dependent variability, inconsistent reveal geometry, and progressive alignment drift under long-term structural and environmental loading conditions. The proposed calibration framework introduces a controlled multi-plane installation architecture incorporating structural decoupling interfaces, staged mechanical adjustment, and reveal stabilization mechanisms. The methodology permits independent vertical, lateral, and depth correction of concealed frame assemblies to compensate for framing asymmetry, substrate irregularities, and dimensional instability commonly encountered in lightweight wall construction. By utilizing mechanically controlled calibration zones, the system reduces localized stress transfer between aluminum frame profiles and adjacent gypsum-based finishing materials, thereby reducing the likelihood of drywall cracking, finish separation, and reveal distortion near material transition regions. The calibration architecture supports repeatable reveal stabilization tolerances below approximately ±1.5 mm while reducing reliance on installer-specific field approximation techniques. The system additionally incorporates dimensional verification points compatible with non-destructive inspection procedures and digital quality-control workflows utilized in contemporary construction management environments. The proposed methodology establishes a repeatable engineering framework for concealed-frame installation in structurally variable and high-humidity construction conditions commonly observed in subtropical building environments.
