Abstract: This research paper investigates the technology of formation of career-oriented communication competencesin the training of future specialists in higher education institutions, specifically in the context of Englishlanguage teaching, while considering the growing importance of the green economy. The objective is to examinehow the integration of career-oriented communication competences within English language teaching canserve as a catalyst for promoting sustainable practices and principles of the green economy. By exploring thetheoretical foundations and practical implications, this study aims to contribute to the existing body of knowledgein the field of language education and sustainability. The research design will involve a mixed-methodsapproach, including surveys, interviews, and classroom observations, to gather comprehensive data. The findingswill shed light on the effectiveness of incorporating career-oriented communication competences withinEnglish language teaching curricula, providing insights for educators and policymakers in higher educationinstitutions. Ultimately, this research endeavor seeks to bridge the gap between language education and thegreen economy, offering a valuable framework for preparing future specialists who possess both the necessarylanguage skills and a sustainability mindset to contribute to a greener, more sustainable future.
