Abstract: This article provides an overview of the history of cross-cultural management as a separate field of study. Ithighlights the importance of cross-cultural management in a globalizing world and takes the reader through the stagesof research studies devoted to this field that have evolved into a separate discipline across the universities in developedeconomies.
