Abstract:
This article explores the theoretical foundations and practical implementation of sustainable economicdevelopment, emphasizing its critical role in contemporary economic policy. Sustainable development aims to achievelong-term economic growth by balancing environmental and social considerations. It involves integrating economic,social, and environmental dimensions to meet present needs without compromising future generations. The analysishighlights the unique advantages and challenges of implementing sustainable development at the regional level, wheretailored strategies can effectively address local characteristics and needs. Key challenges include disparities in resourceutilization, migration pressures, and environmental impacts of rapid regional growth. By examining relevant theories andregional case studies, this article underscores the importance of sustainable development in regional policies and offersinsights into effective strategies for achieving it.
