Analysis of factors affecting certification in the production of textile industry products

Abstract: This article explores the factors influencing the certification processes in the textile industry, with a focus oncompanies such as H&M, Inditex (Zara), and Nike. The study examines key certifications like ISO, OEKO-TEX, andGOTS, highlighting the challenges and drivers that impact the attainment of these standards. Through a comparativeanalysis of data from leading companies, the study identifies significant factors including environmental standards,social compliance, and cost considerations. Findings suggest that while certifications are essential for ensuring productquality and sustainability, companies face barriers related to cost and supply chain complexity. The study concludes withrecommendations for improving certification processes to enhance industry standards.
