Abstract: The issue of reducing the cost of manufactured products is the main stage in increasing the profitability of theindustry and is therefore particularly relevant at the present time. Only by comprehensively analyzing production costsand correctly identifying reserves for reducing them, will an enterprise be able to achieve its goal and not lose to its competitors.It is these reasons that determine the relevance of the topic of the article. The purpose of this article is to studythe theoretical and methodological aspects and conduct an analysis of the costs of producing livestock products in theagricultural enterprise, as well as to identify possible ways to reduce the cost of production in order to improve the financialresults of an agricultural enterprise.
