Abstract: This article was written as an introduction to the collection of articles "Scientific-practical implementation of advanced engineering technologies in the modern economy is the foundation of innovative development" and analyzed the importance of integration of advanced engineering technologies with the economy in the development of today's modern countries, especially in sustainable development.At the same time, in today's intensive reforms in higher education based on international formats, it is advanced that it is promising to expand the activities of fundamental research, joint projects aimed at creating additional value, and the activities of innovative technology parks.
