THE IMPACT OF NATIONAL ECONOMY COMPETITIVENESS ON ECONOMIC GROWTH

Abstract: Our article is devoted to the study of the impact of the competitiveness of the national economy on the economicgrowth of the country. We consider the main theoretical approaches to assessing competitiveness and its role in ensuringsustainable development. We analyzed the key factors influencing competitiveness, such as innovative activity, laborproductivity, the quality of the institutional environment and the level of international integration. Based on empirical data,the relationships between the level of competitiveness and the rate of economic growth were identified. At the sametime, recommendations were proposed to improve competitiveness as a necessary condition for long-term growth of thenational economy.
