A local perspective on sustainable supply chain management in Uzbekistan

Abstract:
This study examines sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) by merging global frameworks with localperspectives to identify effective strategies for embedding sustainability into conventional SCM models. The researchhighlights the significance of green supply chain management, circular economy principles, and digital transformationin reducing environmental impact while improving operational efficiency. It also critically assesses key challenges,including technological adoption barriers, infrastructural constraints, and policy misalignment. The study offers actionablerecommendations to support Uzbek industries in their transition toward sustainable practices.
