Barriers to tourism infrastructure development in Uzbekistan: a critical analysis

Abstract: Uzbekistan has made considerable progress in the promotion of tourism, but infrastructure developmentsupport is still faced with serious challenges. This article describes the concrete reasons that are hindering infrastructuredevelopment in the tourism industry, including limited investment, policy gaps, and logistical issues. Using up-to-dateinformation and academic studies, it reports on what is currently stifling these developments and shows the areas toprioritize to potentialize tourism.
