Abstract: The concept of Society 5.0 represents a transformative societal shift where advanced technologies such asartificial intelligence (AI), big data, the Internet of Things (IoT), and robotics converge to create a super-smart society. Thisvision aims to harmonize technological advancements with human-centric development, optimizing both industrial growthand societal welfare. For the BRICS-T countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, and expanding members),Society 5.0 offers a unique opportunity to address socio-economic challenges, boost productivity, and foster sustainabledevelopment. The integration of these technologies into industries, governance, and daily life has the potential to reshapethe economic landscape of these nations, enabling them to transition from traditional models to more advanced, tech-driveneconomies. However, achieving this requires strategic investments in digital infrastructure, workforce development, andinternational collaboration. This paper explores the implications of Society 5.0 for the BRICS-T economies and outlinesthe potential pathways for leveraging digital transformation to secure long-term economic prosperity and environmentalsustainability.
