Abstract:
This article analyzes current issues, regional practices, and global approaches to ensuring environmentalsustainability in tourism. The study examines the factors that are important for sustainable tourism development – rationaluse of resources, environmental protection, participation of local communities, and the role of government policy. Italso examines effective mechanisms for managing sustainable tourism based on the experience of different countries.The conclusions of the article include practical recommendations aimed at creating a model of tourism that reduces theecological footprint, is socially responsible, and is economically sustainable
