Abstract: Energy security refers to the reliable availability of energy resources at affordable prices andis a fundamental component of national security and economic stability. In the context of global crises andgeopolitical change, energy security gains heightened importance, as disruptions such as armed conflicts,economic recessions, and public health emergencies can significantly threaten energy supplies worldwide.This article examines how these crises, together with emerging renewable energy trends, reshape traditionaloil and gas production and global energy security strategies, highlighting the need for integrated policies thatcombine fossil fuel management with a low-carbon transition
