Abstract: This article presents a comprehensive analysis of the current state and development prospects of Uzbekistan’stourism sector in comparison with international practices. By examining cases from Kazakhstan, Georgia, Turkey, France,and the UAE, the study identifies both strengths and weaknesses of the national tourism model. Special attention isgiven to digital transformation, branding, state support, and sustainable tourism. Based on the analysis, the article offersrecommendations to modernize Uzbekistan’s tourism policy in line with global trends
