Abstract:
This article analyzes the importance of profitability indicators in assessing the effectiveness of an enterprise'seconomic activities. Profitability is one of the main financial indicators reflecting the profit potential of an enterprise, whichis analyzed in various directions (assets, sales, capital, etc.). The article discusses the types of these indicators, methodsof calculating them, and how they serve as a source of information in enterprise management. The strategic importanceof management decisions made on the basis of profitability indicators is also revealed. The results of the study serve todevelop proposals for increasing financial stability and effective use of resources at the enterprise
