Abstract: This study examines the role and impact of investments on the economic system of the Surkhandarya regionthrough econometric analysis. By utilizing a robust dataset covering key economic indicators over the past decade, theresearch identifies the relationship between foreign direct investment (FDI), domestic investment, and regional economicperformance. A comprehensive econometric model is employed to quantify the effects of investments on key economicvariables such as GDP growth, employment, and industrial development. The findings indicate that increased investment,particularly in agriculture and manufacturing, significantly enhances economic output and improves the socio-economicwell-being of the region. Additionally, the study highlights the critical role of government policies in creating a favorableinvestment climate and addressing structural bottlenecks. Recommendations are provided to optimize investment flowsand ensure sustainable economic growth in Surkhandarya. The research contributes to regional economic planning byoffering actionable insights for policymakers, investors, and stakeholders.
