Abstract: This article is devoted to the theoretical and methodological foundations, models, and forms of developingthe digital economy in regions, as well as its structural components and potential areas of application. Furthermore, thearticle presents practical proposals and recommendations for the effective use of such concepts as “Regional DigitalTransformation,” “Smart Region,” and “Digital Region.”
