Relations as a Source of Threat to Enterprise

Abstract: Searching for new sources of competing advantage, necessary for enterprises existing in modern conditions sometimes results in unexpected threats. Using relational advantage, bringing expected benefits, causes however threat to enterprise resulting from possible opportunist behaviours of partner. Opportunist behaviours have been the subject of theories for a few decades, however, possible ways of defence are an area of far less identified. Referring, among others to game theories, examples of such defensive behaviours which are counted to two groups of enterprises can be presented: with strategic and operational character.
