Abstract:
The article wants to show the importance of the cooperation between school and parents. The cooperation between parents and school is extremely important when you observe the changes that have hapenned. In the past, the participation of parents was limited to a merely formal cooperation with the school. Today it is different, as the content and parameters of cooperation have changed. The school found itself at the crossroads of the impact of social changes on the one hand and the influence of parents on the other. The model of cooperation with parents also include informal forms which are normally not implemented in practise. These are usually projects or individual programmes of schools. The key question is whether cooperation should be limited to the transfer of knowledge and skills or more specific attention should be paid to the social function of education and active participation of parents. The focus of this article is to present a successfull participation of parents as an effective model in Primary school Cerklje ob Krki. How to involve parents into meaningful cooperation with school?
