An Analysis of Contribution of Villagers in Realization and Flourish of Resistive Economy

Abstract: Sustainable and desired economic growth is realized through coordination between and participation of both public and private sectors. Respecting intensified economic sanctions aiming at suppressing Iran’s peaceful nuclear plans during recent years, the term “resistive economy” or “economic endurance” is added to economic literature of Iran. Resistive economy is an economy that makes scenarios considering all local and international strengths and weaknesses and external opportunities and threats and has certain plans for every circumstance. Moreover, it knows inside and outside very well and reacts to changes in an appropriate manner. The present paper aims at analyzing contribution of rural population (villagers) in realization and flourish of resistive economy using library-study method. Results indicate that villages may play a significant role in realization of resistive economy, provided that continual education and learning is present.
